The Deaf and Mute in China are severely stigmatized and neglected. It is not uncommon for them to wind up in the streets where they are recruited and exploited by gangs to commit theft and other crimes. We have partnered with a caring woman who felt compassion for these forsaken ones and gives them a home and an education.
